The Heart of Hope Jewelry is copyrighted by Sculptor and Jewelry Designer Gloria Tew and based on her original 15-foot sculpture located at the Camp Heartland Center, a camp for children afflicted and affected by HIV/AIDS. When she designed the sculpture, Tew set out to create a symbol of Hope, Love and Courage. She artistically combined three elements: the teardrop to represent the pain and suffering a child with AIDS goes through; the question mark for when they ask Why Me?; and the heart to express what Camp Heartland is doing to reach out to these children.
